Frostig Students, Teachers Go Remote

Frostig School teachers and students have embraced online learning with creativity and positivity. With just a long weekend to prepare, Frostig teachers developed the tools and lesson plans to launch distance learning on March 17. Principal Jenny Tucker Mottes and her team took great care to maintain the structure of the school day while also creating opportunities for students to stay connected by maintaining school clubs and organizing Google Hangouts at lunch time. Students have made many adjustments of their own, starting with setting up their home “classrooms.” Dining room table, bedroom desk, backyard patio table—it all works!
