Historic Win for St. Francis Lacrosse: Peraza Seals First-Ever D1 Playoff Victory



St. Francis High School made history with a thrilling 17–16 victory over Mira Costa in the CIF Division 1 Playoffs, marking the program’s first-ever D1 playoff win in lacrosse. Ezekial Peraza scored the game-winning goal, securing the milestone moment for the Golden Knights.

The team, led by Head Coach Don Bowers and his exceptional staff, will advance to face #2-seeded Santa Margarita on Tuesday, May 6. Game time is still to be announced.

Congratulations to the entire St. Francis lacrosse team, Coach Bowers, and the coaching staff on this remarkable achievement. Go Knights!
