History Made: Ben Grable ’20 Becomes Flintridge Prep’s First MLB Draft Pick

Ben Grable ’20 has made Flintridge Prep history as the first baseball player to be drafted to an MLB team. The right-handed pitcher played for the Northwestern Wildcats before transferring to Indiana to play for the Hoosiers–and now he’s been drafted by the NY Yankees! At Flintridge Prep, Ben captained the football and baseball teams and won the JP Blecksmith award as well as the Prep League MVP in his junior year and Athlete of the Year in 2020. Congratulations Ben Grable!
