Immaculate Heart’s Annual WALK Continues a Tradition of Giving Back

Annual five-mile walk through Los Feliz raises vital funds for student financial aid and campus improvements

Immaculate Heart Middle & High School is excited to host its annual WALK on Friday, October 23, bringing students together for a beloved school tradition that has supported financial aid and campus improvements since 1973.

Now in its 54th year, the WALK is a signature event at Immaculate Heart, uniting students, faculty, staff, families, alumnae and friends in support of the school’s mission. Students will complete a five-mile route through the historic Los Feliz neighborhood, celebrating school spirit while raising funds that directly benefit the IH community.

For more than five decades, the WALK has reflected the generosity and shared commitment that sustain Immaculate Heart. Funds raised help make an IH education accessible to students from all backgrounds through financial aid while also supporting campus enhancements that enrich the student experience. The annual event is a powerful reminder that the strength of this 120 year-old school lies not only in its academic programs and traditions, but also in the extended community that supports its future.

Immaculate Heart is an independent Catholic, all-girls school serving students in grades 6–12 located in Los Feliz, just next to Griffith Park. Guided by its enduring objective to educate and empower women of great heart and right conscience, the school fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, leadership, and an ethos of compassion and service. The WALK brings these values to life, empowering students to contribute to something greater than themselves.

As this year’s fundraising campaign continues, Immaculate Heart invites its extended community and supporters throughout Los Angeles to participate by making a donation. Every single contribution helps sustain financial aid opportunities and strengthen the campus for current and future generations of Pandas.
