La Salle’s “Support Our Troops Club” Assemble “Welcome Bags” for Gold Star Children

April is designated as the Month of the Military Child, and it’s a time to recognize and thank the children of our service members and veterans. The Support Our Troops Club assembled “Welcome Bags” for Gold Star Children (military kids who have lost a parent due to war) for an upcoming retreat that is being held by For Families of Active Military in Lake Arrowhead. It contains a few items that we hope will help make their stay more comfortable. These children are brave beyond measure, so we want to do all that we can to support them.
