Pasadena Christian School Opens Immediate Enrollment to Students Displaced by Devastating Fires
In response to last week’s destructive rampage by the Eaton Fire that has ravaged parts of Pasadena and Altadena, Pasadena Christian School has announced it will accept immediate transfer students from affected areas, offering educational continuity to families who have lost their schools.
The private school, located at 1515 N. Los Robles Avenue in Pasadena, is accepting transfer applications for all grade levels, from preschool (aged 18 months) through eighth grade, for the current academic year.
“We have been so disheartened by the fires that have affected our community,” school officials stated in their announcement. “We are devastated to hear the news of families who have lost their homes, schools, churches, and businesses, and want to support families as much as we possibly can.”
The initiative comes as local educational institutions mobilize to accommodate students displaced by the disastrous fire. While space at Pasadena Christian School is limited, administrators note they will prioritize applications in the order received.
Families interested in immediate enrollment can submit applications through the school’s website at www.pasadenachristian.org/admissions.
The school emphasizes that applications will be prioritized in the order they are received, making swift action important for interested families.
The school is also accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Jacquelyn Babikian, Director of Admissions at Pasadena Christian School, is serving as the primary contact for affected families. “We are prayerful for you during this difficult time,” she noted, encouraging parents to reach out with questions about the transfer process.
The school maintains a comprehensive campus video tour available here for prospective families who wish to view the facilities before applying.
For families seeking additional information about transfer enrollment, Babikian can be reached directly at jbabikian@pcs.school or through the school’s website at www.pasadenachristian.org.
