Pasadena High School Student Shortlisted for Prestigious Global Essay Prize



Pasadena High School’s Gabriel Alvarez, Class of 2027, has been shortlisted for the John Locke Institute’s Global Essay Prize, one of the world’s highly regarded essay competitions for young writers. As part of this prestigious honor, Gabriel has been invited to London to attend a series of academic lectures and the awards ceremony taking place October 2–4. He will represent Pasadena High School during the events and celebrate this outstanding academic achievement alongside fellow finalists from around the world.
