Pasadena Unified Partners with PCC to Host College Corps Fellow

Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) is partnering with Pasadena City College’s (PCC) College Corps Program to host a program fellow for an eight-month term. The statewide Californians for All College Corps initiative provides paid service fellowships to college students, allowing them to gain leadership experience while addressing key community challenges such as climate action, K–12 education, and food insecurity. Through this collaboration, PUSD will welcome a PCC student-fellow who will contribute to regional fire recovery and community engagement efforts while completing approximately 400 hours of meaningful service.

More than 700 PCC students applied for only 20 fellowship positions across 15 local host organizations, including PUSD. Fellows receive a stipend, training, and the opportunity to earn an education award upon completion of the program. For PUSD, this partnership not only brings additional support for community-centered recovery initiatives but also strengthens ties between higher education and K–12 public service in Pasadena.
