Pasadena Waldorf Students Bring Organic Chemistry to Life in the Lab

There is a unique kind of magic that happens when students have access to specialized equipment and a dedicated learning space. Pasadena Waldorf School Grade 9 and Grade 10 students recently immersed themselves in the world of Organic Chemistry, conducting complex experiments and collecting data with professional-level precision. At PWS, the high school science curriculum is thoughtfully designed to explore both the theoretical and tangible worlds side by side. By working in a dedicated laboratory environment, students are transformed from learners into investigators, experiencing firsthand the excitement and discipline of scientific discovery.

The school looks forward to seeing this same enthusiasm continue to flourish in its permanent lab home when the community returns to its Altadena campus in fall 2027.
