Before the Christmas break, Ramona Convent Secondary School welcomed Britney Hermosillo-Rojas ‘08 as its “Ramona Goes to Work” guest speaker.
Britney Hermosillo-Rojas ‘08 is a Construction Engineer and current Senior Estimator/Project Manager for American Wrecking, Inc. She handles projects from the proposal and bid phase through to completion with a focus on work performed under time and material constraints. Her recent project valuations vary from $25,000 to $1,000,000. Britney graduated from Ramona in 2008, received her B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from Cal Poly-Pomona in 2014 and her M.B.A from the University of Redlands in 2018.
“Ramona Goes to Work” is a special speaker series hosted by Ramona’s Alumnae Department. Throughout the school year they welcome Ramona alumnae from a variety of backgrounds and jobs to visit and share what their experiences have been like since leaving Ramona. This is an excellent opportunity for our students to see what possibilities await them and learn about the triumphs and challenges of college, post-college, and their careers.
