Sequoyah School Students Set Out for a High Sierra Adventure

Sequoyah School 10th graders circle up before departing on a five-day backpacking trip to the High Sierras.

There’s nothing like a Field Studies adventure to broaden students’ PERSPECTIVE, which also happens to be this year’s Habit of Mind. As they navigate the trails, camp together, and experience the beauty of the High Sierras, students will have opportunities to learn beyond the classroom and strengthen their connections with one another.

The journey is also a chance to embrace new challenges, build confidence, and appreciate the value of teamwork and perseverance. Wishing everyone a fantastic school year filled with meaningful adventures, discoveries, and growth!
