Sequoyah’s Haydn ’28 Wins Top Honors at Prestigious Youth Music Festival



Sequoyah School congratulates Haydn, Class of 2028, on his outstanding achievement – winning first place in the Baroque Piano category at the prestigious Southwestern Youth Music Festival (SYMF). The SYMF is one of the largest and most respected student music competitions in Southern California, drawing hundreds of young musicians each year to compete in various instrumental and vocal categories. The festival promotes musical excellence and performance experience for students of all levels. Haydn impressed the judges with his refined technique and musical interpretation as he performed four movements from Bach’s French Suite No. 5. Bravo to Haydn for this remarkable accomplishment!
