Sequoyah’s Treehouse and Burrow Classes Celebrate the Persian New Year Nowruz

Grandparents Sue and Ali visited Sequoyah’s Treehouse & Burrow classes to celebrate Nowruz (Persian New Year) with students and teachers. Ali shared about his childhood in Iran, the traditions he loved as a child and the reason New Year is celebrated on the first day of Spring. As a parting gift, they gave each student a card with their name handwritten in Farsi to take home as a keepsake. Sequoyah School thank you both so much for spending time with the students and happy New Year!
