Southwestern Academy Girls’ Basketball Team Claims Back-to-Back International League Championships

Southwestern Academy proudly celebrates the 2025–26 Girls’ Basketball Team for earning the title of Back-to-Back International League Champions. The achievement, announced on the school’s official Facebook page earlier today, marks another milestone for the program and reflects a season defined by determination, discipline, and teamwork. Securing consecutive league championships underscores the consistency and growth of the Suns, who rose to the top of a competitive International League through hard work and collective effort.

This repeat championship highlights more than wins on the court – it represents the commitment of student-athletes who balanced academics and athletics while demonstrating resilience throughout the season. Coaches, families, and the broader Southwestern Academy community played a vital role in supporting the team’s success. As the Suns celebrate this accomplishment, the program looks ahead with pride, building on a legacy of excellence and a culture where hard work truly pays off.
