Eagles Soar in Season Opener – Marshall Softball Dominates Grant High School

The Thurgood Marshall Eagles softball team  delivered an impressive performance in their season opener on Wednesday evening, securing a resounding 29–11 victory over Ulysses S. Grant High School (Valley Glen, Los Angeles, CA) in softball action.

Marshall’s offense was relentless, and the Eagles set the tone early and never looked back. Pitcher Ashley Sandoval was outstanding on the mound, recording five strikeouts in a standout performance, while catcher Roselyn Estrella-Salmeron delighted fans with the team’s first home run of the season. The win marks a strong beginning for the squad as they look to build momentum and continue competing at a high level throughout the season.
