The St. Francis High School Knights varsity boys volleyball team snapped a six-match losing streak with a 3–1 victory over Cathedral High School Phantoms (Los Angeles, CA) on Wednesday, March 4.

After several challenging matches, the Knights bounced back with a strong performance to secure the win against the Phantoms. The result continued a recent trend in the matchup, as St. Francis also came out on top when the two teams faced each other in March 2025.

The match concluded with set scores of 25–17, 17–25, 25–17, and 25–16.

The victory improved St. Francis’ overall record to 2–6 for the season. Cathedral, meanwhile, has struggled in recent weeks, dropping eight of its last nine matches and falling to 2–11 overall.

St. Francis will return to the court on Friday with a 5:45 p.m. matchup against San Juan Hills. Cathedral is scheduled to host El Rancho on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in its next contest.
