St. Rita School’s Technology Class Took a Trip Around the World

St. Rita School’s technology class took a trip around the world today! They officially became explorers and made their way through Paris, Italy, Egypt and even stopped by the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco! How did they do that?

The lesson focused on Google Maps and the Search bar. Students learned how to research different destinations, how to properly use the available tools, and how to view destinations through both google maps and google earth view.

One student said “This is so much fun!”, as she was looking at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France through google earth. Incredible!

This is a great way to gather important information about a particular place and learn about their destination and history.
