Stratford School Altadena Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Back to School

Stratford School Altadena officially kicked off the new school year last Wednesday with an official red-carpet entrance for students in Early Preschool, Elementary, and Middle School. Excited students were greeted with warm welcomes and plenty of smiles from their school leaders, teachers, and staff. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Stratford School Altadena’s campus and the 26th year of Stratford School in California.

The 2025/26 return to campus was a celebration filled with balloons, fun goodies, and plenty of school spirit. Throughout the week, students enjoyed exploring their new classrooms, connecting with their teachers and classmates.

“Starting the year strong is key. When we spark excitement in our students from day one, their energy, curiosity, and joy set the stage for an incredible year ahead. Given the challenges our Altadena and school community faced in the aftermath of the fire, we do not take for granted how fortunate we are to return to our campus. We are deeply grateful to our families, teachers, and the wider community for their support, and we look forward to a restorative year of learning and growth for our students,” remarks 1- 8 Grade Principal Patrizia Ribaya.
