Summer at St. Francis



Summer at St. Francis is just around the corner and registration for academic, enrichment, and athletic opportunities is now open! The program is open to boys and girls entering the 7th grade through 12th grade.

St. Francis High School offers a variety of summer courses open to boys and girls entering the 7th grade through 12th grade. Courses for preparation, review, enrichment, STEM and STEAM and grade remediation are offered.

Registration begins on March 15, 2022 through this website. Students from other high schools are responsible to verify the transfer credit guidelines with their school prior to enrolling. Classes must have a minimum of 12 students. Students may enroll in up to 4 classes.

Dates: June 20-July 22 (No classes on July 4)
School Hours: 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (Some Camps until 6:30 p.m.)

Periods:
Period 1: 8:00-9:10
Period 2: 9:15-10:25
Period 3:10:30=11:40
Period 4: 11:45-12:55

Open to 7th Grade and Up
Courses include HSPT, e-sports, leadership, sports medicine, CSI, athletics and much more. Classes are generally 70 minutes in length, M-F.

Entering Freshman Program (9)
The Entering Freshman Program is designed to help 9th graders prepare for success in high school. Class sizes are limited, and preference is given to St. Francis Students. Courses include pre-algebra, study skills, writing foundation, head start to Spanish, and athletics.

High School Program
The High School program is designed to make up deficient courses or grades, as well as prepare students for upcoming courses. Both semester and yearlong credit is available. Students from all high schools are welcome, however preference is given to St. France’s students should a class be impacted. Courses include math, Spanish Review, Driver’s Education, AP Prep courses Literature and Writing Workshop, Chemistry, Public Health, Medical Terminology, Intro to the Arts B and College Boot camp.

Summer Sports Camps
Summer Athletic Camps, conducted by the St. Francis Coaching Staff, are offered throughout the summer. (Please see course list for dates and times). Camps include weightlifting, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball and speed & agility.
