Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Advances to L.A. County Quarterfinals

Thurgood Marshall Secondary School’s Mock Trial Team is celebrating a major achievement after their victory on Monday night advanced them to the Los Angeles County Quarterfinals, placing them among only eight teams still in the competition. This year’s team has demonstrated exceptional preparation and poise, impressing judges with their mastery of courtroom procedure and persuasive advocacy. Their performance continues to build momentum as they refine arguments, sharpen strategy, and support one another through each round. Pictured are the trial attorneys; not pictured are the pretrial attorney and prosecution witnesses, all of whom played crucial roles in the team’s success. Last week’s MVP was Jack Stewart-Oaten, and this week’s MVP honor goes to Andrew Sweet, recognized for his outstanding dedication and performance. Congratulations to the entire Mock Trial Team on a job well done.
