Westflix Takes Over All School Day at Westridge School

The sun was shining as the community at Westridge School gathered for its annual All School Day celebration, hosted by the Upper School Associated Student Body. This year’s “Westflix” theme brought the campus to life with a variety of creative activities inspired by popular films and shows, including a Stranger Things–themed escape room, laser tag and virtual reality games reminiscent of Ready Player One, and cupcake decorating inspired by The Great British Bake Off. Students and faculty also gathered on the quad for picnics, dancing, and root beer floats while enjoying a throwback cover band featuring the school’s own Director of Theatre, Brandon Kruhm. In addition to the festivities, students participated in meaningful community service projects, assembling lunches for Union Station Homeless Services and planting vegetables to donate or to begin gardens of their own, making the day a lively celebration of creativity, connection, and service.
