Young Students Take Center Stage at Waverly’s “Breakfast and Books” Celebration

Kindergarten students at The Waverly School recently gathered with their families for a joyful and meaningful “Breakfast and Books” celebration. The event brought the community together over a spread of delicious homemade breakfast treats, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all in attendance. Students proudly shared their handmade books, each one reflecting their creativity, imagination, and growing confidence as storytellers.

Families had the opportunity to read alongside their children, celebrating the progress they have made throughout the year. The classroom buzzed with excitement as young authors enthusiastically presented their work and described the inspiration behind their stories. The event not only highlighted early literacy skills but also reinforced the importance of family involvement in learning. Truly, the Story Express students lived up to their name, demonstrating that even the youngest learners have powerful stories to tell.
