The event starts at 9 a.m. up to 4 p.m., and is open for participation by anyone impacted by spinal cord disability, and there is no fee to join. The event will introduce adaptive sports to the community. Games will include quad rugby, handcycling, wheelchair basketball, archery, power soccer, boxing, pickleball, tennis, beep baseball, and boccia. An art workshop and a resource fair will also be available on site.

The organizers will have over 30 sports wheelchairs and sports equipment for people to use, plus coaches and instructors to teach you how to play the games. It will be fun for your whole family,

Brookside Park is at 360 N. Arroyo Blvd. south of the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Triumph Foundation’s programs are open to any person dealing with disability including family members. The group’s outreach supports children, adults and veterans, as well as people of all backgrounds. The majority of their outreach is in Southern California, but they also provide resources and assistance to people across the United States.

To date, the organization has touched the lives of over 8,000 individuals with disabilities, providing over $1 million in assistance to people with inadequate medical insurance and financial hardship. The Foundation has also performed dozens of accessible home remodels, provided wheelchair accessible vehicles to 20 individuals who did not have the means to purchase one on their own, and handed out over 2,000 Care Packs full of resources to those newly injured.

Volunteers regularly visit 24 area hospitals and rehabilitation centers throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, Riverside, Kern, and San Diego counties.
