Be the Hit of Every Zoom Holiday Party! Learn to Play Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa Songs on the Ukulele

Published on Dec 6, 2020

Last month, the Pasadena Public Library hosted a series of ukulele classes to teach anyone interested how to play. Now, starting on Monday, December 7, Pasadena Public Library is back with a virtual class to show participants how to play holiday songs on the instrument.

“Holidays with the Ukulele” is from 6 to 7 p.m. on Mondays throughout December and is open for ages 9 and above.

“Join us for a little bit of lesson, and a little bit of playing and a whole lot of fun,” a Pasadena Public Library announcement said. “We’ll learn simple songs celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and winter.”

For the lessons, you can use your own uke, or if you need to borrow one, contact Marie Plug at mplug@cityofpasadena.net. Supplies are limited.

To register for the classes, visit www.cityofpasadena.net/library/calendar and click the December 7, 6 p.m. tab.
