Pasadena is hosting The Franchise Expo next weekend – two days of free educational seminars, free legal, financing and business advice, and lots of opportunities to meet with representatives from some of the top franchise concepts that want to open in Southern California.
The Franchise Expo will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 8 and 9 at the Pasadena Convention Center.
Some of the seminars on the schedule include such topics as the Five Steps to Picking the Right Franchise for You, How to Use your 401k to Finance Your Business Start Up, How to Start Your Own Business — Franchising vs. Small Business Start Up, and Small Business and Franchise Funding in 2021.
Speakers include some of the top names in the franchising, business and financial industry — among them Laura Rau and Ed Gow from The Entrepreneur’s Source, Dave Woggon from Tenet Financial Group, Steven Cooper from ERSOP.com, and Lynne Shelton from Shelton Law and Associates, who will speak about the key legal points of franchising.
Shelton will also lead a special workshop, How to Franchise Your Business, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. The workshop targets business owners who aim to turn their existing business into a successful franchise operation.
Throughout the expo, you will be able to gather all the information needed to find the franchise that matches your skills and budget, so you can save hours of research time, compare opportunities, and source valuable information in an informal, no-pressure atmosphere.
Tickets to The Franchise Expo are $10, with additional fees for some of the special events on the calendar.
