JPL’s Theodore von Kármán Lecture Series, presented by the Communications and Education Directorate, presents “Curiosity – A Decade on Mars” on Thursday, July 21, 7 to 8 p.m.

This is a free virtual event on YouTube, co-sponsored by Innovate Pasadena.

NASA’s Curiosity Mars rover has been on Mars for 10 years and has driven over 17 miles, teaching everyone there is more to Mars than you could ever imagine.

At this discussion, you’ll take a look at highlights from the past decade of this extraordinary mission and see where it’s leading you next. Speakers include Dr. Ashwin Vasavada, Curiosity Project Scientist at NASA/JPL, and Keri Bean, Curiosity Rover Planner Deputy Team Lead.

The event will be hosted by Nikki Wyrick of the NASA/JPL Public Services Office, with co-host Sarah Marcotte, Public Outreach Specialist.
