Join the First United Methodist Church in Pasadena on Saturday, Dec. 19, for a virtual Christmas Joy concert, as part of the Third@First concert series.
The event is pre-recorded and will start at 4 p.m.
The Christmas Joy Concert is an annual event at FUMC that’s going virtual this year due to the pandemic.
All in-person programming at the Church is currently suspended, and worship activities are broadcast on live stream until further notice. Web-based events are being scheduled, and you can check for FUMC’s weekly e-blast to learn about virtual opportunities.
During this concert, First United Methodist Church musicians will offer varied music of the season both live from the Sanctuary and in pre-recorded form.
The Third@First concert series is a monthly series presented by FUMC. Performers include several of the church’s choirs as well as instrumentalists such as pianist and series coordinator Junko Ueno Garrett and her spouse, cellist David Garrett.
The Christmas Joy Concert will premiere on YouTube at 4 p.m. Saturday and be available anytime thereafter.
