It’s a Fun and Historic Happy Hour Trivia at Cervecería Del Pueblo

Published on Jul 23, 2021

Pasadena Heritage is hosting its Historic Happy Hour with Pasadena Trivia at Cervecería Del Pueblo on Saturday, July 24, when you can experience the history of some famous and infamous Pasadena watering holes and haunts from 2 to 5 p.m.

This is Pasadena Heritage’s first in-person Happy Hour of the year, the non-profit arts and history-oriented organization said on Facebook.

You will enjoy a guided beer tasting, sample some of Pasadena’s best brews, and test your Pasadena knowledge with special trivia. This month’s Happy Hour features Cervecería Del Pueblo at 141 W. Bellevue Drive, one of Pasadena’s newest breweries. Trivia will focus on the Pasadena Avenue Historic District, just south of Del Pueblo along the old 710 corridor.

Cervecería Del Pueblo, owned by Martin Quinones, was set to open last year as one of the newest craft breweries in Los Angeles. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Quinones resorted to canning his beer, and has been offering delivery and pickup ever since, enabling him to scale up even through the bad times.

During the event, experienced home-brewer Rob Zellem will guide you through the live tasting as you sample four different beers, as you learn about Julia Child, J.J. Blick, and the Durand Mansion.

Tickets are $25 for Pasadena Heritage members and $30 for non-members, $15 for the designated driver which does not include the cost of alcoholic beverages.
