Kidspace’s New ‘Campout’ Connects Tots With Nature

Published on Jun 23, 2022

Kidspace Children’s Museum in Pasadena kicks off its nine-week “Kidscape Campout” on Thursday, June 30, with an exclusive member sneak preview, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In this sneak peek, Kidspace members will be the first to learn about animal tracks in the museum’s Welcome Center, splash in a mountain stream, challenge new friends in a tug-of-war, navigate your trike over the Golden Gate bridge, and explore the woods in search of native wildlife in a multisensory nature walk.

Best of all, this is a chance for members to gather ‘round Kidspace’s fanciful “campfire” for traditional and silly campfire songs and activities.

The nine-week Kidspace Campout winds up on Labor Day, Sept. 5.

Kidspace members enjoy the benefits of play all year long. One-year membership benefits include daily free admission, exclusive pre-sale events, programs, and early access to new exhibits; up to 50 percent off guest admission, discounts on camps, classes, and in the Kidspace Museum Store and Bean Sprouts café; and members-only special offers in the Kidspace online store throughout the year.

Members also enjoy reciprocal admission to hundreds of museums nationwide in the ACM (Association of Children’s Museums) and ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centers) networks.

Membership levels start at $125 for Family of 2.
