Don’t look now, but someone is having a birthday. Nothing Bundt Cakes on Lake Avenue, the local outlet of the popular national chain, will celebrate seven years of business on Saturday, March 26. Sort of.

As owner Ingrid Kuo explained Wednesday, “We haven’t had a birthday in four years, because the last one that we planned was two years ago, right as COVID happened. So we never had our fifth birthday celebration.”

And just like that, five years became seven.

So it’s time for a party. And since it wouldn’t be a birthday party without a magician, Riley Magician, a store employee, will be entertaining customers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. before he ‘disappears,’ said Kuo.

Bundt wait, there‘s more.

“The first 300 people who make a purchase get a free confetti Bundlet,” said Kuo, and we’ll have a DJ here to play music. So it’ll just be fun.”

As Kuo added, “We’re just really looking forward to celebrating our seventh birthday to connect with the community in a way that we haven’t had a chance to in the last two years.”
