Musicians from Pasadena Symphony and Pops’ string section take center stage Saturday, March 13, for a free showcase with the sparkling melodies that only Mozart delivers, Puccini’s high drama, the serenity of Bach and the astounding virtuosity of Milhaud, on “Pasadena Presents,” premiering at 4 p.m.

Conducted by Pasadena Symphony and Pops’ very own David Lockington, the concert will be live on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, and will be available to stream for 48 hours afterwards.

“Pasadena Presents” features Sara Parkins, Amy Hershberger, Aroussiak Baltaian and Vivian Wolf on violin, Qiang Wang on the viola, and Judith Henderson on cello.

The program includes Mozart’s “Divertimento in D major,” Puccini’s “Chrysanthemums,” Bach’s “Sonata for Violin Solo No. 2,” and Milhaud’s “Sonatine for Violin and Cello.”
