Cultural Thursdays at the Pasadena Senior Center presents The Tap Chicks New Year’s Extravaganza on Dec. 29, starting at 2 p.m.
The Tap Chicks are the Pasadena Senior Center’s own delightfully entertaining dance group – taught Pam Kay, a teacher and professional entertainer, who shares her expertise with students by creating Broadway-style routines for tap and jazz.
Since 1997 when it was founded, The Tap Chicks has been promoting health, longevity, and the quality of life through dance. They defy the years and delight audiences, young and old. With their versatile dance styles, from Broadway, country, jazz, and popular music, The Tap Chicks have had many years of success and many return engagements.
In addition to their lively routines, Pam Kay herself adds variety to the show as she sings, plays banjo, and performs her unique comedy act. She is a veteran Las Vegas entertainer whose act delighted audiences for over 20 years.
