Three Voices, Two Guitars and a Mandolin

Published on Nov 10, 2022

JaKL, a new music project with three voices, two guitars and a mandolin, will be performing at the Coffee Gallery Backstage in Altadena on Thursday, Nov. 10, starting at 8 p.m.

JaKL are Jaynee Thorne, Karen Tobin, and Leslie Barker, who have joined forces to create a beautiful blend of vocals with their original songs and some choice covers. They’re Los Angeles-based singer/songwriters who share numerous recording credits.

JaKL’s sound is acoustic, organic, and unique. Their well-crafted original songs, as well as choice selections from other esteemed writers, involve the listener in their meticulous arrangements and the labor of love.

“The Coffee Gallery Backstage have been waiting a long time for this act. Don’t miss it,” Coffee Gallery Backstage owner Bob Stane said.

To follow the band, tickets to Thursday’s show are $20.
