Winter Adventures for Kids About to Kick Off at City Rec Centers

The Pasadena Parks and Recreation Department is opening up a new set of winter activities for children at two different parks in the City.

Starting on December 21, keep the kids entertained by signing them up for two weeks of games, fitness, and arts and crafts at either Victory Park Recreation Center or Robinson Park Recreation Center.

Week 1 of Winter Adventures is Monday, December 21, to Thursday, December 24. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday.

Week 2 is Monday, December 28, to Thursday, December 31, open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday.

Pasadena Public Health Department COVID-19 protocols will be in place, including screening for symptoms, limited group sizes, face coverings and social distancing.

No meals are provided so please prepare one or two snacks and lunch for your child each day. Make sure your kids also wear closed-toe shoes for the activity.

The standard charge for each four-day set is $30 per child. This is open for ages 5 to 12.

For Week 1, the deadline for online registration is on Friday, December 18, at 8 p.m.

For Week 2, the deadline is on Christmas Day, December 25, at 8 p.m.

Victory Park Rec Center is located at 2575 Paloma Street, and the Robinson Park Rec Center is at 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave.
