Coming Fall 2025: McKinley’s Pan-African Immersive Storytelling Academy!

New for Fall 2025! McKinley School’s Pan-African Immersive Storytelling Academy weaves Black experiences and cultures through innovative virtual reality, animation, and digital music technologies. Interactive projects will engage students and give them the opportunity to be content creators honoring their individual voice and experiences. With creativity, critical thinking, and a pan-African lens, immersive storytelling experiences will be integrated into students’ day-to-day Mathematics, English Language Arts, and History courses.

The academy will be available for incoming 6th-grade students at McKinley Middle School for the 2025-26 school year.
