Golden Start: St. Rita Varsity Football Opens Season with Thrilling Overtime Scrimmage



St. Rita School’s varsity football team kicked off their season with an exciting first scrimmage at St. Charles Borromeo School (North Hollywood, CA). The game went into overtime, keeping fans on edge and showcasing the boys’ determination and teamwork. With strong defensive plays, quick offensive drives, and smart coaching adjustments, the team proved they were ready for the challenges ahead this season. Every player contributed to the effort, showing resilience and school pride in a high-pressure matchup. Even as a scrimmage, the matchup showed the team’s focus, determination, and school spirit.
