Honoring Service and Sacrifice: La Salle College Prep Commemorates Veterans Day

In recognition of Veterans Day, the La Salle College Preparatory School (Pasadena, CA) community gathered for a heartfelt assembly organized by the Wounded Warriors Club. The event featured Gold Star Parent Mary Tallouzi, who shared her deeply moving story of love, loss, and resilience.

After caring for her son, Daniel, who sustained combat injuries while serving in Iraq, Mary found healing and renewed purpose through her work with the Wounded Warrior Project, advocating for veterans and their families. Her message of courage, service, and hope touched everyone in attendance, reminding the community of the enduring sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes and the loved ones who support them.

La Salle College Preparatory extends its gratitude to Mary Tallouzi and to all veterans for their unwavering strength, compassion, and dedication to others.
