La Salle’s Center for Cultural Perspectives: Shaping Students into Informed, Open-minded Global Citizens

La Salle College Preparatory’s Center for Cultural Perspectives has been instrumental in shaping its students into informed, open-minded global citizens, keen on appreciating diverse viewpoints and understanding cultural influences. This program inspires and prepares students to passionately explore intercultural relations and advocate for international peace through service.

This past fall, their adventure took them to Zaragoza, Spain, where the group strengthened bonds with its partner schools, La Salle Gran Via and La Salle Montemolin. Over ten days, these Lancers and faculty immersed themselves in the rich tapestry of Spanish culture, engaging in meaningful discussions highlighting the differences and similarities with its culture in the United States.

From savoring Spanish cuisine to gaining insights into shared Catholic heritage and the Lasallian mission, this experience was a testament to the power of global connections and peace through understanding.
