Maranatha High School Celebrating Diversity at World Culture Day

This Thursday, Maranatha students can experience a journey around the globe at its World Culture Day event!

The school community, including students, staff, and parents, has come together to create an immersive experience that celebrates the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our world. Students can explore dozens of booths, each featuring a different culture or country. These vibrant displays will feature an array of experiences ranging from music to dance, art, and, in many cases, delicious food to sample. It’s a unique opportunity to delve into the traditions and customs that shape our global community, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the diversity that surrounds us.

World Culture Day is more than an event; it’s a celebration of the uniqueness of other cultures and a chance to learn from one another in a fun and engaging environment. So, this Thursday from 12:15-1:40 pm (see special bell schedule here), let’s come together to celebrate the world’s cultures and the vibrant diversity that enriches our school community. See you there!
