St. Philip the Apostle 8th Graders Embark on Washington, D.C. Trip



St. Philip the Apostle School 8th Graders visited Washington, D.C., where they toured national landmarks and museums and participated in many exciting activities. The class visited many of the area’s major attractions including Capitol Hill, The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, World War II Memorial, The Thomas Jefferson Memorial, National Museum of American History, and the Library of Congress. The itinerary also included stops at the White House and Black Lives Matter Plaza, the Lincoln Memorial and many more historical museums.
