St. Rita Fourth Graders Dive into Hands-On Owl Science

St. Rita School fourth graders experienced an unforgettable hands-on science day as they explored the fascinating world of owls through pellet dissection. Students carefully sorted bones from fur, cleaned and examined their findings, and conducted comparisons using identification charts to better understand their discoveries. To wrap up their investigation, they worked diligently to assemble a skeleton, bringing their findings to life in a meaningful and engaging way. The activity provided an exciting opportunity to deepen their understanding of ecosystems, food chains, and scientific observation. It also encouraged curiosity and teamwork as students shared insights and collaborated throughout the process.
