St. Rita School Students Welcome Bishop Brian during his Catholic Schools Week Visit

On Day 3 of celebrating Catholic Schools Week, St. Rita School staff and students began with its weekly Tuesday Mass. This Mass was particularly special because of the honorary guest, Bishop Brian Nunes! St. Rita students were excited to meet the Bishop and couldn’t wait for the moment when Fr. Tom presented Bishop Brian with a special vestment with Saint Rita and roses on it, so that he can remember his visit with the school forever.

It was a joy to have Bishop Brian walk the campus and visit each classroom! Students were given the opportunity to ask questions and were so grateful to Bishop Brian for being so generous with his time. St. Rita students were excited to learn about the process of becoming a Bishop, when he knew he wanted to become a priest and even fun stories about his family! St. Rita School thanks Bishop Brian for visiting St. Rita School!
