Trustees Needed for the San Marino Schools Foundation

Dear San Marino Unified Community,

We are so grateful each day for the direct and positive impact our San Marino Schools Foundation has on the success of our students, staff, and schools. We truly could not maintain our tradition of excellence without the tireless efforts of SMSF, those who donate to SMSF, and those who serve SMSF.

Every year, the SMSF selects a small group of dedicated parents and community members to serve on its Board of Trustees. SMSF Trustees have the opportunity to affect real change within our schools by building strong relationships with the community, the school district, and fellow parents.

The Board strategizes on how to improve students’ education and experience while enrolled in SMUSD. It does this through multiple channels including engaging community members, brainstorming on fundraising streams and strategies, identifying opportunities to raise additional funds to support new programs, planning recognition events, communicating closely with the District, and advocating the needs of our parents and community.

If you are interested in learning more or becoming an SMSF Trustee, please reach out to our Executive Director James Lau at jlau@smsf.org or visit this link.

You can also keep up with the great work SMSF does through their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages!

Many thanks to our community for helping make the future a brighter place by helping us give our students access to the very best that will make them the very best leaders of the future.

Sincerely,

San Marino Unified School District
