Two FSHA Leaders Recognized for Outstanding Christian Service

With the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, two members of Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy (FSHA) were recognized yesterday for their outstanding commitment to service through the Catholic High School Christian Service Awards. Student Jane H. ’26 and Religious Studies Teacher and Service Learning Coordinator Alexis Salazar were honored for the meaningful ways they embody faith through action in their school and wider community. During the celebration, José Horacio Gómez, Archbishop of Los Angeles, reminded attendees that “service is love in action, and we know the world needs love.” Jane and Mrs. Salazar were recognized for powerfully reflecting the school’s Dominican Pillar of Service, inspiring others through their dedication to helping those in need both on campus and beyond.
