Get in the spirit of Halloween throughout the month of October, when Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge hosts “Halloween at Descanso,” a month-long autumn experience with festive activities for all ages.
Halloween at Descanso is a pumpkin-filled extravaganza that invites guests to safely wind their way through socially distanced, pumpkin-themed displays in the most popular sections of the popular Southern California attraction.
All through October, The Kitchen at Descanso will have a variety of warm, fall-inspired drinks and soups available, along with such seasonal favorites as caramel corn and churros.
Children 14 and under are encouraged to dress in costumes as they explore the pumpkin-themed displays.
On Monday, Sept. 28, advanced tickets for the month-long celebration go on sale for nonmembers starting at 10 a.m., through www.descansogardens.org/
Halloween at Descanso will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 1 through Oct. 25. Descanso Gardens members can enter anytime.
On Oct. 26 to Oct. 30, the gardens will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
And on Halloween, Oct. 31, the event will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. From 5 to 8 p.m., it will be open exclusively for members at the Family Plus level and above.
After Halloween at Descanso, the gardens will be open throughout November and December.
All November tickets will be released at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, including Free Tuesday tickets for Nov. 17.
December tickets will be released at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, including Free Tuesday tickets for Dec. 15.
