Saving Wildlife International Sponsors Special Animal Wildlife Encounter At Kidspace

Published on Aug 31, 2021

Kidspace Children’s Museum in Pasadena is sponsoring a special animal wildlife encounter with the animal ambassadors from Saving Wildlife International on Friday, September 3, starting at 5:30 p.m. This event will help kids and the whole family learn more about what it means when an animal is endangered, threatened, or extinct.

Saving Wildlife International, based in Los Angeles, has been providing displaced wildlife with a permanent home since April 2000. It has also been helping educate children and adults of all ages about wildlife conservation to create an awareness of and commitment to nature, and to encourage them to make informed decisions and constructive action concerning wildlife and the environment.

For over 20 years, SWI has been conducting wildlife presentations featuring live mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians to primary and secondary schools, military bases, homeless shelters, and retirement communities throughout California.

Friday’s event is free with admission. Due to the large number of children who visit Kidspace and are not yet eligible for COVID-19 vaccines, the museum will continue to require face coverings for all guests age 2 and over, regardless of vaccination status, until further notice. For more guidance on safety protocols at Kidspace, visit www.kidspacemuseum.org/visit/hours-and-admission

After the presentation, your family will better understand the symbiotic relationship between humans and wildlife. Learning about this at any age can make a difference in wildlife conservation and also motivate one to make wiser decisions regarding the environment.
