Sierra Madre Elementary School Kicks Off Literacy Month

Sierra Madre Elementary School (SME) is kicking off Literacy Month with the Read-It-Forward Program!

It’s a great way to make room on your bookshelves for new books! Donate New or Gently Used Books to be shared with students at SME and Madison Elementary School. SME students can pick a “new to them” book at the Literacy Night on September 21st. All remaining books will be donated to Madison Elementary School.

From Sept. 5-15th, book donations can be dropped in the book boxes in the SME’s Front Office hallway.

Sierra Madre Elementary School, 141 W. Highland Ave., Sierra Madre, (626) 396-5890 or visit www.pusd.us/site/Default.aspx?PageID=35
