Celebrating the Freedom to Read at Fusion Academy Pasadena Downtown

Fusion Academy Pasadena Downtown students explored the power of stories during Banned Books Week with a special visit to a local bookstore. The experience encouraged meaningful discussions about censorship, creativity, and the importance of diverse voices in literature. Throughout the week, students also participated in a fun and thought-provoking game—guessing famous book titles based on their descriptions—which sparked curiosity and friendly competition. The celebration reminded everyone that reading is not only an act of learning but also an act of freedom, empowering individuals to think critically and embrace different perspectives.
