Marshall Eagles Soar to Victory at Middle School LEARNs Basketball Championship

Thurgood Marshall Secondary School celebrated its Marshall LEARNs Junior Varsity basketball team after they triumphed over the Eliot LEARNs squad in the Middle School LEARNs Basketball Championship Game on Friday night, with the Eagles securing a 45–42 victory. The win highlighted the team’s strong teamwork and competitive spirit throughout the season. Thurgood Marshall Secondary School, part of the Pasadena Unified School District, serves students in grades 6–12 and is known for its diverse academic, arts, and athletic programs, with its teams competing under the mascot of the Eagles in a wide range of sports and activities.

This victory adds to the school’s tradition of celebrating student achievement both in athletics and academics during its centennial year, which has been marked by numerous accomplishments across extracurricular programs.
